Engaging my Services
I do, wherever possible, try to ensure that services are aligned with the participants goals to ensure we are compliant with the NDIS and the NDIS Code of Conduct. Implicit Simplicity is not directly affiliated or registered with the NDIS. I use the codes and payment structure in line with the NDIS standards and set out in the NDIS Price Guide.
Onboarding Process
· Free 20 minute phone consult to ensure our services are appropriate
· Look over the NDIS plan (if applicable)
· You will be given the Price Structure and Item Codes, Terms and Conditions and Service Agreements.
Clients will receive a free 20 minute on-boarding consult call at no charge to ensure we can assist them before booking any shifts. I will look at their NDIS plan (where applicable) to ensure our services and codes align with their plan. Clients are provided with the fee structure and codes used for services and a copy of the Service Agreement which is signed by both parties.
Individuals Values and Beliefs
Clients are supported in their values and cultural and religious beliefs. They will be not be encouraged to change their belief systems or act against their cultural beliefs. Values systems will be encouraged and continued to develop in a way that is authentic to the individual as a means of self-growth and capacity building. We are an inclusive provider as such everyone has the right to their own identity and may express this freely and safely.
Person-centered Support
Implicit Simplicity aims to provide a tailored service for NDIS participants or private clients. The sessions are run in an environment that adheres to their particular goals and preferences. This might mean they require a session at home, on the phone or out in the community. The sessions are guided by the client and their needs on the day. We take the session at their pace and address concerns they bring up. It’s an organic process and it’s tailored for every individual.
Clients have the freedom to choose how, when and where their sessions are held as long as they are in line with their NDIS goals (if applicable).
Termination of Services
Services can be terminated at any time should the need arise; I do prefer a conversation occurs first to better understand how and why it is necessary and to see if any accommodations could be met to better serve the client's needs. As the service provider, I maintain the right to terminate services for any reason I deem fit.
Other reasons for terminations may include:
• Crossing the professional boundaries
• Explosive, hostile reactions or violent, unsafe or threatening behavior
• Drug or alcohol use during sessions or being under the effect of drugs/alcohol
• Frequently missing appointments or frequently cancelling within
2 clear business days of the session day
• NDIS not covering the services provided for applicable clients
Including any changes in goals, funding types or funding amounts. ie running out of funds without notifying us
• Failure to make payments
All appropriate steps will be made to ensure any issue that could lead to the termination of services have been brought up with the client and they have been made aware of the issue and given a chance to rectify it.
Cancellation Policy
Clients are asked to cancel their appointment prior to 2 clear business days before the day of service. If they are NDIS participants, the NDIS permits providers to still claim the full fee for the cancellation of the session.
